RoboFest
Robofest, hosted by Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, MI, is a festival of competitions and events with autonomous robots encouraging students to have fun while learning STEAM and Computer Science principles.
Students can design, construct, and program the robots using any robotics kit and programming language.

Past UMC Challenges
UMC will be hosted around the world and during the Robofest World Championship on May 14, 2026. Winners of the Sr. UMC Division at the World Championship will receive an LTU Scholarship certificate.

The participating groups for this competition will comprehensively cover schools, research institutions, enterprises and public institutions, covering all age groups. Each relevant unit can form its own participating team and register for the competition in accordance with the competition rules and relevant management regulations.
The competition includes robotics and drone challenges. Due to the wide variety of challenges, please contact your school teacher or our designated partner to obtain an invitation to participate.
