Adults (18 years old and above)
1. Field
1.1 Field Introduction
The Smart Farm competition is conducted on a field measuring 1.143m × 2.362m. The initial setup includes the following props:
Crystal Fruit: 3 units
Rice Seeds: 8 units
Lotus Root Seeds: 2 units
Seed Warehouses: 2 units
1.1.1 Prop Specifications
Crystal Fruit: A polygonal pyramid prop, approximately 5.7cm high and 8.8cm wide. Initially located in the circular areas of the "Big Tree" zone.
Rice Seeds: Orange scoring props, 9.3cm high with a 4cm diameter. Features a magnet at the top. Each warehouse starts with 4 rice seeds.
Lotus Root Seeds: Purple scoring props, identical in dimensions to rice seeds, also with a top magnet. Each warehouse starts with 1 lotus root seed.
Seed Warehouse: A prop with 5 slots to hold seeds.
1.2 Field Zones
The field is divided into three main sections: Collection Area, Lotus Pond Area, and Sowing & Storage Area. Specific zones include:
Robot Warehouse: A 28cm x 28cm square (excluding lines) where robots start.
Big Tree Zone: Initial location for Crystal Fruits.
Lotus Planting Area: Two 9cm × 28cm rectangular areas in the center for sowing lotus root seeds.
Farmland: Two trapezoidal areas in the top right for sowing rice seeds.
Fruit Warehouse: Three designated areas for storing Crystal Fruits to score points.
Roads: Black lines (2cm wide) flanked by white lines (2.5cm wide) connecting areas.
2. The Match
2.1 Definitions
Age Groups: Elementary school students under 13.
Junior Group: All members under 10 years old.
Senior Group: All members under 13 years old.
Teams: 1 to 2 students.
Possession: Defined as carrying, holding, or controlling an element's movement. Pushing/pulling isn't possession unless using a recessed part of the robot to control movement.
2.2 Scoring
Task | Action | Points |
Crystal Fruit | Stored (partial projection) | 10 pts |
Perfect Storage (full projection) | 20 pts
Rice Seed | Planted (partial projection) | 5 pts |
Perfect Planting (full projection) | 10 pts
Lotus Root Seed | Planted (partial projection) | 10 pts |
Perfect Planting (full projection) | 15 pts
Time Bonus | If total score $\ge$ 100 points | 1 pt per remaining second |
Scoring Requirements: Elements must not touch the robot and must be in the correct zone at the end of the match.
2.3 General Match Rules
Duration: 90 seconds.
Starting Size: Robot must fit within 28cm × 28cm × 28cm.
Expansion: During the match, the robot may expand to 35cm × 28cm × 28cm.
Possession Limits:
Cannot hold Crystal Fruits and Seeds simultaneously.
Max 4 Rice Seeds at once.
Max 1 Lotus Root Seed at once.
Human Intervention: Teams can signal to "rescue" a robot to the start, but any held elements must be reset.
3. Robot Constraints
Hardware: Limited to 6 motors (including servos).
Electronics: Max 2 controllers, 2 batteries, and 2 remotes.
Parts: No specific brand restrictions (Whale, Lego, VEX, 3D printed, etc., are allowed).
Construction: Must be student-built; pre-assembled structural kits (like complete chassis) are prohibited.
4. Tournament Format
Ranking: Teams play 2 matches; the highest single-match score determines the ranking.
Tie-breaking: 1) Remaining time in the high-score match; 2) Lotus root seed score; 3) Rice seed score; 4) Electronic draw.
Debugging: A 60-minute debugging period is provided before the competition. Robots are sealed once debugging ends.
